Not be trieb

was formed in 2023 out of a session, initially as an open collective with changing line-ups. The central figures of the band are guitarist Frank Schramm, around whom the project takes shape, rooted in Essen and vocalist Charlotte Liebig, alias Lotta Love, from Berlin. The debut album of the three-part "Engel" project was recorded in 2024. "Wein", the second album from 2025, featuring 20 bluesy and folky tracks, blends again contemporary and retro sounds with classic literary influences, incorporating lyrics and themes from iconic writers. "9=1", a compilation of singles and special editions, followed in early 2026. Notbetrieb's new project "Lucifer" will be released in September and November.
